Where do I use a BR light bulb?

This dimmable BR Series LED Light Bulb fits E26 socket fixtures. Use it in downlights and recessed cans for living areas, hallways, offices, and above kitchen counters. These directional flood lights provide a wide beam spread to cast a large pool of light in a room.

Is this light waterproof?

It isn’t wet rated, but you’ll be able to use Sunco BR bulbs out of doors in damp zones with no direct exposure to water. Use it in covered porch lights, in secure patio areas, and other places where condensation might occur, but no water seeps through to the bulb.

What type of light does a BR light bulb create?

Beam angle affects the shape of the light produced. Our BR bulbs are wide flood lights with a 110-degree beam angle. That means they cast a wider pool of light in comparison to a PAR light bulb. The light BR bulbs produce is of a softer quality than a PAR, too, the edges aren’t as crisp. BR bulbs have a tendency to produce fewer shadows and make great downlights in recessed cans.
