Fits Right Or Left Hand DoorsThese door levers are reversible, meaning they may be able to be installed on either right or left hand swing doors. Instructions for reversing the levers are included and only takes a few seconds. Heritage Keyed entry, privacy and passage levers are reversible. |
Adjustable Backset LatchHeritage door levers come packed standard with a 1″ x 2-1/4″ square corner latch faceplate. Optional round corner and drive-in latch faceplates are included and can easily be changed before installation to fit your needs. Latches are adjustable to fit either 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ backset door prep. |
Privacy Levers
Privacy sets are used on bathroom and bedroom doors.
Locked by turning a button on the inside and can be unlocked in case of emergency from outside by turning the slotted button the use of a flat object.
Passage Levers
Passage sets are typically used on closet doors, bedrooms and other doors that you wish to have to latch but do not lock
Individual Inactive Levers
Typically used on interior doors where a push/pull function is required such as a pantry
.Inactive door levers mount to the face of the door and do not require and door prep.
Door hardware lock prep
The most common door prep is a 2-1/8″ diameter hole in the face of the door. In the image above you’ll see how to decide the backset of the door hardware.
Backset is decided by measuring from the edge of the door to the center of the hole where your door hardware will be installed.
Most doors have either a 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ backset door prep.
